Story Summary
"At 38, Zheng Shan has been mocked by the villagers of Qingniu Village for a decade. He spends all his days holed up in a tin shed at the village entrance, tinkering with scrap metal. Carrying on the last wish of his late father, a fallen aerospace engineer, he devotes himself to researching magnetodynamic spaceflight technology. The dean of the Aerospace Institute arrives with an official appointment letter, inviting him to serve as the chief designer. James, a foreign expert, repeatedly sets obstacles and sabotages his work. In the end, he is overwhelmed by Zheng Shan’s breakthroughs. He apologizes and seeks cooperation.
