Story Summary

Captain Delphine of the Rook was betrayed by her fiancé Garrick and her stepsister Blythe, who pushed her into the deep sea. Yet by a twist of fate, she forged a contract with Leander, the Tide God who had been sealed away after being usurped by his younger brother. Returning to the surface, Delphine reclaimed the Rook, rebuilt her rescue crew, and challenged the Voss Group, which monopolized the bay. As the truth behind her father's murder came to light, her father's killer, Marlow, and the Silver Dragon God Severin both turned against her. In the end, Delphine returned the ocean's authority with her life, helping Leander reclaim his godhood — and Leander revived her with his dragon heart. Together, they defeated their enemies and restored the Rook as the hope of the bay once more.
