Story Summary
Ivy's sister is dying. She begs her husband Julian for help, but he makes her go through his assistant Serena for approval. Serena delays on purpose. Ivy's sister dies. Ivy loses her baby. She leaves Julian and starts over. A year later, Julian regrets everything and tries to win her back. Ivy refuses. They divorce. She says goodbye at her sister's grave and begins her new, free life alone.
