About this short drama
Story Summary
Damon, the illegitimate son of Ithaca's former king, witnessed his mother burned to death on a pyre by his half-brother Creon, and was exiled to a desolate island. Not only did he survive, but he also met his beloved Nefera. A prophet declared him the true king recognized by the gods, and the god of the wind bestowed upon him divine power. Yet when Creon's fleet returned, they slaughtered the entire island, killing his beloved before his eyes. Damon brought back the souls of the dead to Ithaca, with the help of Polyus infiltrated the palace, severed Creon’s right arm, and exposed the truth behind the murder of the king and the usurpation of the throne. When Creon’s grandfather Hermann marched an army to invade, Damon sank enemy ships, blocked the harbor, and launched a fiery surprise attack, turning the enemy fleet into a sea of flames. In the end, Creon was bound to the same pyre that once consumed his mother, while Damon donned the ancient crown of the first king, becoming the true ruler of Ithaca.
