Story Summary
Ten weeks into her pregnancy, Eleanor is summoned home to prepare a nursery for her older sister Clara, who claims to suffer from a rare blood disorder and to be expecting twins. Eleanor has spent her entire life doing Clara’s chores while her own recurring illness was dismissed. Then she overhears Clara admit that the blood disorder was fabricated twenty years ago.
