About this short drama
Story Summary
Orphan Clara discovers a conspiracy at her fiancé Draven’s birthday party: Draven and her best friend plan to steal the port inheritance left by her father. Drugged and pursued after learning the truth, she flees into the room of Dante, CEO of a powerful port-owning family. Dante suffers from an unstable condition after political rivals injected him with wolf-blood. They share one fateful night. The next day, Clara reports to police with cloud-backed audio-video evidence, only to learn she is pregnant with twins. Haunted by childhood genetic experiments, Dante fears the wolf-blood gene will affect the babies and coldly schedules an abortion. His mother intervenes, declares Clara the family’s daughter-in-law, and Dante compromises: they will register their marriage with a no-divorce clause if prenatal exams show the babies are healthy. After marrying and moving in, Dante is gradually moved by Clara’s kindness and strength, and their love deepens. Dangers continue: Dante’s political enemies hire foreign mercenaries to hunt Clara; Dante rescues her dramatically on a cross-sea bridge and helps law enforcement capture the mercenaries. Meanwhile, a fake heiress, aided by family traitors, smears Clara and fakes a pregnancy to marry into the family. With Dante’s support, Clara uses her mother’s keepsake to issue a missing-relative notice and is confirmed as the long-lost legitimate heir of a top-tier wealthy family. At the reunion banquet, the fake heiress’s lies and crimes are exposed, and she is expelled; the villainous great-uncle is arrested. With all obstacles gone, Clara safely gives birth to boy-girl twins, and she and Dante hold a grand lakeside wedding, sealing their happy ending with a kiss.
