Story Summary

Pregnant Emily Whitmore repeatedly begs her husband, Daniel Cole, to protect their family—only to be met with suspicion and abandonment. Blinded by his supposedly dying former lover, Jessica, Daniel ignores his daughter’s abuse and makes a devastating choice that costs Emily their unborn child.
