Story Summary

Deep-sea heiress Ligeia is framed by her father and stepmother, injected with a neurotoxin, and locked away in an asylum. After escaping, she hires Felix—a down‑and‑out bodyguard who is secretly the leader of a mercenary corps. Felix secretly counteracts her poison, eliminates traitors, and helps her regain control of the family empire. As they battle life‑and‑death threats, they fall in love. Ligeia ultimately takes back everything and sends the villains to hell—but believes Felix died saving her. Just when all hope is lost, Felix miraculously reappears before her eyes.
