About this short drama
Story Summary
On her birthday eighteen years ago, Lily Bennett was kidnapped and sold by her gambling-addicted father to pay off his debts. Desperate to escape, she pretended to suffocate and was thrown into a river, only to be rescued and raised by a kind sanitation worker, Margaret Shaw. Growing up, Lily never stopped searching for her real family—but found no answers. Eighteen years later, while working at a hotel owned by Blackwell Group, she receives a call that Margaret has been hit by a car.
