About this short drama
Story Summary
By accident, Natalie saved Sebastian who was targeted by others. The two had a relationship. Sebastian left an expensive wristwatch and promised to fulfill one of her requests. Natalie didn't know that Sebastian was the boss of the Grand Crest Group, and Ryan's global chain hotel was also one of his businesses. Meanwhile, a huge amount of money disappeared from the Grand Crest Group. Sebastian began to search for the person who truly solved the Blackwood case six years ago, and the genius investigator who had been hidden for many years was Natalie. As the wedding date approached, Natalie decided to let Sebastian handle her wedding on her behalf. Sebastian agreed, but proposed that they not pretend - they would directly register as a legal couple. After registration, Natalie and Sebastian began to fulfill this accidental marriage. She rushed back to her apartment and found that Ryan's family had forcibly moved in, so she took out the sale documents to drive them out. Without a place to live or financial support, Ryan still believed that she would come back. Natalie moved into Sebastian's penthouse apartment, resigned from Grant & Howe, and started Hayes & Chen with Maya. Her former boss Victor constantly pressured her to return, trying to cover up the fact that he stole the credit for the Blackwood case and destroyed the database. Natalie refused to compromise and led the core members to start a new business. During their shared life, Natalie cracked the funds diagram of dozens of experts in the Grand Crest Group within ten minutes, allowing Sebastian to finally see her ability. The two gradually fell in love. Sebastian tried several times to reveal his identity, but was afraid that Natalie would think that this marriage was from the beginning a deception. Sloane regarded Sebastian as a potential marriage partner for the family and constantly provoked Natalie. Victor gave Ryan the ten-thousand-dollar company credit card under Natalie's employee number to set up a trap. Ryan mistakenly believed it was Natalie's token of reconciliation and spent wildly, believing that Natalie and Sloane were competing for him. On the wedding day, Ryan rushed into the banquet hall to stop Natalie from putting on the wedding ring. Natalie refused in public, and Sebastian publicly defended his wife. Ryan was driven out of the wedding by the security guards and could only watch helplessly as Natalie married someone else; Natalie and Sebastian also confirmed their true feelings in this wedding. Ryan later lost his job, residence, and protection from Sloane, and was pursued by Victor for debts. After getting sick, he sought help from Sloane but was abandoned. The Cole family instead demanded a breakup compensation from Natalie. Natalie took out the loan documents and legally recovered the debt, no longer bearing any consequences for them. Sloane slandered Natalie as trying to cling to the rich family. Eleanor, the grandmother of Sebastian, demanded that she leave for five million dollars. Natalie firmly refused and stated that Eleanor was only Sebastian's boss and had no right to interfere in their marriage. Until Sebastian rushed into the office and shouted "Grandma", Natalie realized that her husband was the true power behind the Grand Crest Group. The identity shock had not been resolved yet, and the Grand Crest Group then experienced a one-billion-dollar cross-border financial crisis. Natalie saw through the ruse of the other party using small refunds to test the risk control threshold, and recovered all the funds within the countdown period, and discovered the system backdoor planted by the Whitmore family. After the crisis ended, she also confessed to Sebastian that she was the one who cracked the Blackwood case six years ago. Victor and Sloane colluded to falsely accuse Natalie, stole the summit question bank and sent someone to tamper with the server. Natalie refused to use her husband's power to clear her name and instead faced them head-on with the original evidence. At the summit, she completed the blind test with her true abilities, disclosed the truth of the Blackwood case and the transfer path of one hundred million dollars, and retrieved the signature that Victor had taken away. Victor lost his practicing license, Grant & Howe and the Whitmore family were investigated, while Hayes & Chen received investment and large enterprise clients. Sebastian ended the original marital agreement between the two and proposed to Natalie again in her true identity. Several months later, Natalie became pregnant with twins, achieving both career and family success; Ryan, who had lost his job, wealth, and all support, could only watch her regain her name, love, and life through the TV.
