Huang Yimei pursued Gu Tingxiu for ten years but failed to win him over. She was left in a deserted suburb by Gu Tingxiu, which led to the onset of a brain tumor. After the surgery, Huang Yimei lost her memory, and she only lost her memory of Gu Tingxiu. She no longer pursued Gu Tingxiu as she did before, but treated him like a stranger. Gu Tingxiu once thought that Huang Yimei was playing hard to get. Gu Tingxiu's "white moonlight", He Yuwei, sowed discord between them, causing Gu Tingxiu to hurt Huang Yimei even more. Huang Yimei, who had lost her memory, said she had no connection with Gu Tingxiu anymore and was heartbroken. She quit her job, sold her house and returned to her hometown to be with her parents. Fu Jingshen, who was informed by his parents that he was engaged to Huang Yimei, had specially returned from abroad to bring them together. Huang Yimei politely declined on the pretext of work, but unexpectedly showed up for an interview at Fu Jingshen's company. From then on, the two began their romance. As Huang Yimei's new romance began, Gu Tingxiu realized that he loved Huang Yimei and started to pursue her. He Yuwei continued to cause trouble and tried to take over Gu Tingxiu. Gu Tingxiu detested her even more. He Yuwei, in a fit of rage, drove her car and hit Huang Yimei. After the car accident, Huang Yimei's memory was restored. Gu Tingxiu was delighted and believed that there was still a possibility for the two of them. However, after her memory was restored, Huang Yimei once again confirmed her true love: she only loved Fu Jingshen! At the wedding of Huang Yimei and Fu Jingshen, Gu Tingxiu came to try to snatch the bride, but he became the laughingstock of the whole audience. Seeing Huang Yimei marry Fu Jingshen, who loved and protected her, he finally learned to let go and sincerely wished Huang Yimei a lifetime of happiness.
