Play Uncle, the Secret Lover of the Mute Wife

Philippa, adopted daughter of the Carringtons, married Josh out of gratitude but suffered neglect and humiliation. She discovered Josh was cheating with designer Ellie and secretly poisoning her throat medicine to silence her and seize her father Marcus's company. After public humiliation by Ellie and mother-in-law Edith, Philippa calmly gathered evidence of Josh's embezzlement and fraud, aided by Matthew—Josh's uncle and the family's true patriarch—who bought her father's company and hired doctors for her throat. When Josh and Ellie tried to ruin her with a forged video at an awards gala, Philippa exposed their affair, conspiracy, and schemes on stage. Josh then kidnapped his vegetative father Marcus; Matthew rescued him. Josh was sentenced to 22 years without parole. Philippa revived her design dreams, accepted Matthew's love, and reclaimed her life and happiness.
