Play Mistaken Marriage, Yet the Bride Is My Crush

After the Jian family went bankrupt, Jian Qing’s father jumped to his death, leaving her mother bedridden with a critical illness. Her elder brother Jian Cheng was under the thumb of his shrewish, money-grubbing wife Jin Peiwen. To resolve the company’s financial crisis, Jian Cheng forced 26-year-old Jian Qing into an arranged marriage with Yu Yiguang, a nouveau riche man over fifty. With no other choice, Jian Qing headed to the blind date. By sheer chance, she walked into the wrong restaurant and sat across from Yu Moting, who was also under family pressure to get married. Mistaking him for Yu Yiguang, she laid out her condition to keep working after marriage. Having harbored a secret crush on Jian Qing for eleven years, Yu Moting readily agreed, and the two got married that very day.
