Play I Guard the Mortal Realm for One Hundred Thousand Years

One hundred thousand years ago, Su Qi, a royal clansman from the Upper Realm, could no longer bear to watch mortals of the lower world being hunted viciously by upper‑realm evil spirits under the bait of “ascension to immortality”. He resolutely severed the passage between heaven and earth, sealed his own cultivation, and guarded the Ascension Platform as the Human Emperor, vowing to protect all living beings. A hundred millennia later, the mortal world has long forgotten the truth. Su Qi’s three personal disciples — Shen Bing, Gu Nan and Liu Ruyan — ally with the ten great aristocratic clans. They publicly accuse Su Qi of three grave crimes: “Defying Immortals”, “Sowing Chaos” and “Deceiving Heaven”, nailing him to the sacrificial altar. The long‑suppressed desire for ascension among countless common people is ignited. They vote frantically to offer the Human Emperor as a living sacrifice to reopen the path to ascension. Ji Yingying, Su Qi’s youngest disciple, fights desperately to defend her master, only to be dragged off to prison. When the so‑called “Immortal Envoys” from the Upper Realm appear, they tempt humanity with visions of celestial palaces, spirit fruits and divine elixirs. Su Qi’s memories are twisted and forged into irrefutable “proof” that he hoarded paradise for himself out of jealousy toward ordinary people. The grand ascension ceremony begins. Hundreds of thousands of mortals cheer and surge toward the supposed immortal realm — which is in truth the Soul‑Devouring Hall piled high with bones.
