Play He Proposed to His Mistress—So I Took Back My Name

Alora was X — the artistic genius who stunned the art world with *Erosion* twelve years ago, then vanished without a trace. She married superstar Harrison, hid her brilliance behind a secret decade of marriage, and gave up everything to be a wife and mother. On their wedding night, she entrusted him with her mother's heirloom — a necklace carved with a crack running straight through the heart. On their tenth anniversary, Alora brought flowers to Harrison's concert — and watched him drop to one knee for his first love, Sophia, in front of the whole crowd. Her five-year-old son Leo ran on stage, calling Sophia "Mommy." The flowers slipped from her hands as her heart shattered. Alora asked for a divorce. Harrison and Leo pushed her away together. After the divorce, Sophia moved into her home, stole the necklace, and impersonated X at the Paris Art Fair. Harrison even bought *Erosion* to "prove" her identity. At her lowest, Andre — CEO of the Alden Group, the man who'd glimpsed her once twelve years ago and searched for her for a decade — reached out his hand. Alora picked up her brush again. She created *Daybreak* — and at the auction, it sold for a billion dollars, crushing Sophia's three hundred million. Then she told the world to its face: "I am the real X." Sophia tried to frame Alora for assault — but the surveillance footage caught her as the real aggressor. Dr. Erin, the country's top internist, proved Sophia's "internal injuries" were pure fabrication. And Nathan dug up the yacht footage: Sophia had pushed Alora into the sea and watched her drown. The truth came out. Sophia was taken away by the police. Leo ran back to his mother, crying. Harrison signed the divorce papers and finally let go. Alora walked into a new life — her son's hand in one of hers, Andre at her side. She lost ten years. But she got back her paintings, her child, her name — and herself.
