Yu Kun, who has achieved the realm of Earthly Immortal, bids farewell to his master and comes down from the mountain. Full of joy, he prepares to marry his long‑time girlfriend Liu Yan. Yet upon their reunion, he is publicly betrayed. Liu Yan attaches herself to the rich heir Zhang Tian. She slaps Yu Kun and humiliates him in public, while Zhang Tian flaunts money to trample upon his dignity. Just when Yu Kun is caught in utter embarrassment, Ye Qinxue, CEO of the Ye Group, arrives by car. She openly offers to take Yu Kun as her boyfriend to escape an arranged marriage imposed by her family. Ye Qinxue brings Yu Kun back to the Ye household. All family members resist the mysterious outsider. Her second elder sister Ye Qingyan repeatedly tests Yu Kun’s capabilities. At that time, Mr. Ye is poisoned by an incurable toxin, which even masters from the Immortal‑Martial Sect cannot cure. Drawing power from The Immortal Emperor Scripture, Yu Kun casts immortal arts. He neutralizes the deadly poison and cures his long‑term heart disease, completely changing the Ye family’s attitude toward him. Later, Ye Qingyan forces Yu Kun to attend the Alchemy Convention. Though he has no alchemy experience, his immortal eyes perceive the true nature of medicinal herbs. He unexpectedly refines the legendary Flawless Ninth‑Grade Divine Pill and rises to instant fame across the immortal‑martial realm. Zhao Hui, young master of the Zhao Clan, harbors resentment after Ye Qinxue rejects his marriage proposal. He sends waves of assassins and thugs to ambush Yu Kun, only for all schemes to be foiled effortlessly. Yu Kun chances upon a black jade ring left by his master and unlocks his identity as the chairman of the Heavenly Dragon Chamber of Commerce. He suppresses traitors inside the guild who collude with foreign forces. At the Ancient Martial Arts Tournament, Zhao Hui rallies warriors from five major clans and reclusive guardians to besiege the Ye family. He even conspires with hostile overseas factions to set up the Demon‑Devouring Formation, plotting to massacre everyone present. Single‑handedly, Yu Kun defeats all powerful foes and exposes their identities as foreign spies.
