Play After leaving with our child, the CEO knelt before me begging for a reconciliation.

Serena and Xavier maintained a three-year marriage, during which she suffered inhuman torment: forced to kneel in a torrential rain for a day and a night while seven months pregnant; falsely accused of stealing Claire's ashes and brutally beaten; her premature daughter tortured to death with needles by Clara; and forced to jump from a building, resulting in paralysis of both legs and loss of voice. With the help of her cousin Julian, Serena left for France in utter despair. After her departure, Xavier gradually realized he had fallen in love with the woman he had so deeply hurt, plunging him into endless longing and panic. Two years later, Serena recovered from her injuries and returned as a cold and resolute vengeful goddess, making a powerful appearance at Clara's birthday party, tearing away Clara's mask of hypocrisy step by step. During his investigation, Xavier finally learns the whole truth: he has personally caused the death of his own daughter, driven Serena's adoptive father to his death, and pushed the woman who deeply loved him into hell. Overwhelmed with remorse, he embarks on an extreme maneuver to win Serena back: kneeling in the pouring rain all night begging for forgiveness, getting hit by a car and becoming disabled in both legs while trying to keep Serena, and engaging in self-destructive atonement just to get her to come back. Clara's conspiracy is exposed, and she goes completely insane, ultimately reaping the consequences of her actions. Julian, seeing that Serena still has feelings for Xavier, chooses to let go and leaves alone. Bound by Xavier's desperate attempts at redemption and the blood ties of their son, An Tianci, Serena finally chooses to let go of the past and reconcile with Xavier. The once cold and ruthless CEO transforms into an extremely doting husband and father, spending the rest of his life making amends for his past mistakes.
