On her fifth wedding anniversary, Natalie wins a $100 million Powerball jackpot. She rushes home to share the news—only to find her husband Ethan in bed with his ex-wife Claire. He plans to spend a $1 million inheritance buying Claire a house, gives Natalie just $80 for groceries, and mocks her, saying she couldn't survive without him. Natalie finally sees the truth: she gave up a promising real-estate career, drained $200,000 of savings, and cared for Ethan and his daughter Emma for five years—all taken for granted. Heartbroken, she decides to divorce, finalizes it with Rachel's help, and claims the prize alone. She buys a new home, founds Polaris Real Estate Investment, and partners with restorer Adrian to revive the Hudson Mansion, turning her life around. Meanwhile, without her support, Ethan loses clients, makes reckless investments in old properties, and drains even Emma's education fund to cover debts. When he learns Natalie won the lottery, he and Claire storm into Polaris demanding $40 million, smear her in a livestream, and demand the company's real owner fire her. Only when Natalie publicly reveals she is Polaris's sole founder do they realize the "jobless, unwanted housewife" they looked down on has become someone far beyond their reach. After the money grab fails, Ethan keeps stalking her, tricks Claire into selling her house to pay his debts, and ends up jobless, homeless, and abandoned by everyone. Emma, seeing her parents' selfishness, apologizes to Natalie. When her ex-husband kneels with an old wedding ring, begging to remarry, Natalie sees through his scheme to make her pay his debts and refuses. Half a year later, she marries Adrian, who truly respects her, and finally lives a life of her own choosing.
