About this short drama
Story Summary
Linses remembered on her sickbed that she had a daughter named Soria before the car accident. She decided to entrust the inheritance—originally intended for donation—to her daughter instead. Alone, she returned to her old home and sought reconciliation with Soria. Her husband, disapproving of her disabled legs and serious illness, and already having a second wife named Aina, refused to acknowledge her and even tried to drive her away. Soria insisted on recognizing her mother, but Aina expelled her from the house and cut all ties. Before leaving, Linses asked them to sign an agreement: from then on, Soria would belong to her, and any future benefits the girl received would have nothing to do with them. Both parties readily agreed. Soria then took her mother to stay temporarily at her boyfriend Ethan's place. Ethan accepted Linses without hesitation, promising to cover her medical treatment, which made Linses feel he was trustworthy—though she still needed further testing. When Ethan’s family learned he planned to support both Soria and Linses, they opposed their relationship and eventually forced them out. Linses set up numerous trials for Ethan. After he passed each one, she helped him secure a high-paying job using various legitimate reasons, humiliating his family and her ex-husband’s household in the process. She personally arranged a wedding between Ethan and her daughter Soria, presenting a will worth hundreds of millions, leaving those like Ketch regretful and remorseful.
